Rhodamine-6G is an abbreviation of carboxyrhodamine-6G. Rhodamine-6G tends to exhibit a higher fluorescence quantum yield than tetramethylrhodAmine conjugates, in addition to greater photostability.
This fluorescent dye is commonly used for hybridization techniques.
- Spin the tube briefly to collect the pellet in the bottom of the tube - Add an appropriate volume of recommended buffer (refer to technical data sheet) - Allow the tube to stand a few minutes - Vortex the tube for 15 seconds
