The unprecedented crisis that we are experiencing is disrupting daily lives everywhere, but we are ready to help. In view of the Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic, we would like you to know that Eurogentec has established and implemented measures to ensure the health and safety of its employees, partners and customers, but also to pursue our mission of providing high quality products.
Together we can help mitigate the impact of the pandemic.
Recently, we received official confirmation that our activities were recognized as critical and essential in the current crisis. Through several of our products and services, Eurogentec is closely involved in the scientific and medical efforts put in place to address this crisis.
As such, we are doing our utmost to meet the demands for oligos and qPCR related products. Indeed, both hospitals and diagnostic companies are currently using our primers and probes as well as our qPCR mixes for use in their virus detection tests.
Thanks to our biomanufacturing unit, it is highly likely that we will soon be involved in the development and production of vaccines against CoV-2-SARS and other types of health scourges. The management of Kaneka Eurogentec is particularly proud, together with its staff, of contributing to any solution to this unprecedented pandemic and hence of being socially responsible.
With this in mind, we will continue our activities but in a reduced manner and under strict conditions. The measures of physical distancing between people and flexible work hours have been strengthened.
Nothing changes for you, and we remain at your disposal.
We have organised teleworking for all of our employees where possible. All of Eurogentec's activities are maintained and all team members remain reachable and at your disposal by telephone, e-mail and video conference.
