    Applications

Mass Spectrometry is emerging as the reference method for absolute protein quantitation: a sample tryptic digest is spiked with one of the chemically synthesized “tryptic” peptides containing one or more heavy isotope labeled amino acids. The observed signals between the endogenous tryptic peptide and slightly heavier synthetic tryptic peptide, are then compared.
It is strongly recommended to quantify the net content of the chemically synthesized “tryptic” peptide with our quant-peptide service or using standard CHN analysis.

  • Features

     Custom service:

    • Tailored mass increase
    • Strict QC testing for mass and purity

     Catalog peptides:

    • Angiotensin
    • β-Amyloid
    • BSA

    Features

Our custom services allow for peptide labeling at single or multiple positions, based on a large choice of heavy hydrogen (2H), carbon (13C), or nitrogen (15N) isotopes-labeled amino acids. We can increase your peptide mass by several Daltons according to your specifications. The most frequently requested amino acids are 13C and 15N labeled.
We also offer catalogue heavy isotope-labeled Angiotensin I and II, β-amyloid and BSA peptides.
