We welcomed the Ambassador of Japan to Belgium at Kaneka Eurogentec

Eurogentec welcomed the Ambassador of Japan to Belgium to visit our new GMP production facilities and learn more about our COVID-19 current activity and future development plan.

On November 8th, Mr. Makita SHIMOKAWA, the Ambassador of Japan to Belgium and to NATO, gave us the honor to visit Kaneka Eurogentec in Seraing.

Our CEO, Lieven Janssens, introduced our activities and , technologies, and our future development plan.

The Ambassador was able to learn more about the key role of Eurogentec in the fight against COVID-19.

During the afternoon, the Ambassador has visited the laboratories where the production processes for the DNA and mRNA molecules are developed, as well as the restricted zones for the manufacturing.
